Brett Camper has design and made a map project called the 8-Bit Cities project. This is 8-bit map of New York City, a retro look maps but worked similar with Google Maps and has a screen scheme like a video game map even though the project is to make a map less foreign and familiar. The 8-bit map Cities software is already can download and it is easy to access only by type in the address and the software will locate it on a map. Based on the test, the maps are more easier to remember than the normal because they blur out the details part which you don’t need while you do navigating. The 8-Bit Map Cities map is available for Amsterdam, Austin, Berlin, Detroit, London, Paris, San Francisco, Seattle, Washington DC, and NYC area and more cities in the future.
