Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin lately has give a statement about their contry project on weponing their cars with GLONASS-Galileo receiver in the 2012. The man who is save twice from two forests fires is willing to give a maximum security to their cars because the road security couldn’t give a full protection while they are on road campaign. And this year they will launch six new GLONASS satellites to support their plan and en-large their global navigation coverage.

“I think that from 2012 all new cars could be sold with the system built in so as to raise the level of road security,” Russian news agencies quoted Putin as saying.

Putin said that GLONASS, which was invented by the military in the 1980s to compete with the US Global Positioning System (GPS) and will in the future face competition from Europe’s Galileo, was being successfully developed.
