Seer Technology introduced NaviSeer a personal GPS tracking system that aimed for military soldier. NaviSeer using MEMS technology for the GPS receiver combined with dead-reckoning ability which offer 2% accuracy of position information when the GPS signal not available. It provide three gyros as well as three accelerometer, magnetometer and baro altimeter. It complete with DR module that support electronic navigation which include user position relative to an initialization (starting or home) point (0,0). It boast internal Kalman filter that function to mix the DR module and GPS data. Naviseer military GPS will be starting to ship in the Q2 of 2009.
