On its 854×480 resolution display, you can operate the GPS-enabled Live Search which allow you to save your current location and search the nearest coffee shop or cafe. It capable to show information about traffic, gas price and movies in the quick real time.

Sidekick LX 2009 support 3G connection that make it able for high-speed Web browsing. It boast Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE worldphone (850/900/1800/1900 MHz along with Dual-band UMTS/HSDPA (AWS Band IV & Band I). It offer 3-hours talktime and 6 days standby battery life in 3G mode, while in the 2G it capable to work up to 5.5-hours talk time and 8 days standby mode.
