Garmin collaborated with BMW Motorrad had been developing BMW Motorrad Navigator IV which aimed for motorcycle navigation and based on Garmin Zumo 660 GPS device. BMW Motorrad Navigator IV using Garmin navigation technology which combined with BMW features, like customized mount as well as preloaded BMW dealer database, radio and Bluetooth connection.

Because of BMW Motorrad Navigator IV adopted Zumo 660, so the specs are similar such as 4.3-inch glove friendly touchscreen, over millions POIs, turn-by-turn, and voice prompted direction. Beside that, there’s also additional features are four-button motorcycle mount with quick-key functions and A2DP Bluetooth wireless technology. It will be rugged GPS device that made from waterproof (IPX-7) material and vibration-tested, it also withstand fuel sprays and UV rays. BMW Motorrad Navigator IV will be available in the market starting in the third quarter of 2009, sadly no words about the price.
