Garmin has two new model of GPSMAP 700 GPS series. They are the GPSMAP 720s and GPSMAP 740s. Garmin GPSMAP 720 and 740 has equipped with a 1kW sonar transceiver of fish finder up to 2,000 feet under the sea include preloaded US offshore maps, coastal areas as well as Alaska, Hawaii and Bahamas’s Explorer Charts. Garmin offers the GPSMAP 720 star at $1,400-$1,600 while the GPSMAP 740 at cost $1,500 - $1,700 and will be shipped around April 2010.
