This GPS still carry on Garmin nuLink (internet connection) that allow you to access Google local search, traffic, weather, movie updates, flight status, and more. Garmin has made an appointment with Rogers Communication as the Nuvi 1690 network server. They offer the Nuvi 1690 at cost 430 CAD with a year free nuLink service and 65 CAD for additional subscribe while if you are in U.S border, you will be charged 10 CAD per month for roaming fee.
