Nokia and Clarion Declare Their Next-Gen Smart Car Infotainment System
|


Nokia and Clarion has declare and announced their collaborated device of new integrated in-car devices with smartphone. This new collaborating device is called the Terminal Mode, a new technology of mobile device and car infotainment system concept which has designed to work together as next-generation smart car infotainment system development.
Clarion-Nokia in-car information system will be compatible with intelligent transport systems (ITS), advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), and navigation coordination include Ovi Store application and NAVTEQ maps apps. Integrating Terminal Mode technology for in-car information systems will be installed to vehicle entertainment, navigation, communications and security products and start production this year in almost all world continents at Clarion’s factories in 10 countries.
“By integrating the Terminal Mode technology into in-car information systems such as car navigation developed by Clarion, we will be able to bring to customers the vast array of applications and services available to smartphones on in-car devices.
